In the age of rapid digital transformation and the increasing complexity of global cybersecurity challenges, CyberCon Asia 2025 proved to be successful with over 500 registrants and more than 1,000 visitors across Vietnam and abroad in attendance.
CyberCon Asia 2025 – Japan–Vietnam was held on 13-14 September 2025 at Duy Tan University in Da Nang. This international conference was co-organized by Fore Corporation (Japan), Suganuma Group (Japan), and Duy Tan University (Vietnam), with the official support of a Member of the House of Councillors of Japan, the Consulate General of Japan in Vietnam, and Colina Dreamcatcher. The event is designed to become a strategic platform for fostering cooperation, innovation, and capacity building in the field of cybersecurity between Vietnam, Japan, and the wider Asia–Pacific region.
The event brought together a robust network of over 100 local and international corporate partners representing Japan, France, Australia, the United States, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and more, solidifying Cybercon’s status as both a locally relevant and globally impactful gathering.
The theme of this year’s conference, “AI vs AI: The New Cybersecurity Battlefield”, highlighting how malicious actors are already leveraging artificial intelligence to outpace existing defense mechanisms. Against this backdrop, the event aims to bring together government agencies, industry leaders, policymakers, academics, researchers, and students to discuss, share knowledge, and jointly explore innovative solutions to protect the digital future of nations and enterprises.
The conference officially opened with a ceremony attended by senior government leaders, industry representatives, and international delegates. The Opening Ceremony will feature keynote remarks from Mr. Tsuruho, Member of the House of Councillors of Japan; representatives from the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang; the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam; the leadership of Da Nang City; and Duy Tan University. This will be followed by the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between government, business, and academic partners, as well as the awarding ceremony for the Hackathon winners.
Throughout the day, participants heard from renowned keynote speakers, including Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC), Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh, and Mr. Colin Blackwell, each addressing pressing topics on the evolving cybersecurity landscape and the intersection with artificial intelligence. Panel discussions will further explore critical issues, such as securing the AI frontier, international collaboration, and the future of the global cyber workforce. Distinguished panelists will include experts from Vietnam, Japan, and international organizations, alongside representatives of the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department.

A cozy, celebratory gala dinner brought together speakers, partners, stakeholders, and attendees. Senator Yosuke Tsuruho was a guest of honour, lending gravitas to the evening and engaging in informal discussions that promise future cooperation and investment in the region.
The ceremony for the second cohort of BlueRock (Gen II) graduates was another highlight of the event. Graduates showcased their capstone projects, received certificates, and committed to continue innovating in their fields. Their success reflects the strength of the ecosystem being cultivated through mentorship, resources, and strategic support.
