Others responded with knowing smiles.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Reflecting on her career, Tanya shared that only about one-third of the managers she had encountered were truly good. However, he quickly faced resistance. When he proposed an objective talent assessment model, a senior executive told him:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019ve worked here for 30 years. I know who\u2019s talented. I don\u2019t need an external assessment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Or others would say:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This person is important to the company. Just keep them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But Steven saw talent management differently. A good leader leads by example at work. Leading is easy when things are smooth, but real leadership is tested in tough times. To Steven, this is the most crucial factor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He also emphasized that knowledge only holds value when applied in the right context. As the saying goes: &#8220;Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. However, Van Nguyen emphasized a key reality: Performance doesn\u2019t improve unless businesses invest in the right areas.<\/p>\n<p>To succeed, both individuals and especially organizations need 3Ps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People \u2013 Hiring and developing the right talent.<\/li>\n<li>Processes \u2013 Establishing effective workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Platforms \u2013 Leveraging the right tools and systems for growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Just as Tripitaka and his disciples had quiet supporters (like the White Dragon Horse), mentors and coaches appearing at critical moments (such as the Buddha and Guanyin), success, whether for an individual or an organization, requires a strong support network.<\/p>\n<p>Van encouraged everyone to identify their career stage, make informed decisions, and seek meaningful connections to accelerate their growth.<\/p>\n<p>A great leader doesn\u2019t rise alone, they grow within the right system.
