AI vs AI
With the theme ” AI vs. AI: The New Cybersecurity Battlefield “, CyberCon Asia 2025 is organized by Fore Corporation (Japan), Suganuma Group (Japan) and Duy Tan University (Vietnam) with support from the Japanese House of Councilors, the Consulate General of Japan in Vietnam and Colina Dreamcatcher.
The conference welcomed nearly 100 leaders, more than 500 businesses, and 50 exhibitors, providing an opportunity for leaders, experts, and scholars from many countries to discuss and propose innovative solutions to protect the digital future of the country and businesses.
Mr. Tsuruho Yosuke, Senator, Secretary General of the Japan – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance, expressed his joy when returning to Duy Tan University for the second time to attend a meaningful event like CyberCon Asia: “Information security – Cyber security is no longer a problem of a single country but has become a global challenge.
In recent years, increasingly sophisticated fraud and credit card fraud have caused great damage to governments, businesses and people. The threat is becoming more complex as Artificial Intelligence (AI) develops.
This reality shows that cooperation, sharing of experience and knowledge is more urgent than ever. CyberCon Asia 2025 is organized with that spirit, becoming a strategic forum where we can find solutions together, and build a safer digital world together.
I am delighted to see that Vietnam has joined the Asia-Pacific Cyber Incident Response Consortium. This is a great example of cross-national cooperation where we share policies and experiences to combat common threats.
As a representative of Japanese associations and agencies in Vietnam, I pledge to provide maximum support for cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, as well as with other countries around the world.
I also always believe that students, who are nurturing talents in the field of cyber security, will become brave ‘warriors’, contributing to protecting cyber security for the country and the world in the future.”
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen – Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam – said: “Cyber security is becoming a common problem for the whole society when the risk of personal information infringement in the field of international payments is increasing.
Cyber attacks not only cause financial damage but also reduce user confidence and have far-reaching impacts on many global financial issues.
In that context, CyberCon Asia 2025 cleverly pointed out a new battlefield: The war between AI – Protection and AI – Shield against AI – Attack. Vietnam has been making efforts to build a safe ecosystem, but this is not easy when we have to face many threats from large-scale cyber attacks.
To address these challenges, we must further invest in advanced security technologies including AI, enhance the expertise of our staff, and build robust processes to prevent and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
I believe that with the cooperation of scientists, experts and highly creative students, we will create a safer future, where AI is not only an opponent but also an ally in the fight to protect information security around the world.”

Meritorious Teacher, Hero of Labor Le Cong Co – Chairman of Duy Tan University Council – emphasized: “The remarkable development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created a ‘new front’ in the cyber security war, making this issue more urgent than ever.
We are facing a big challenge: How can we use positive AI to counter the threats of negative AI? This conference is the answer, a place for us to clarify the existing problems, coordinate and find solutions.
I believe that only when individuals and nations join hands can we maintain information security and network security. Duy Tan University is extremely honored to host this meaningful event.
This is not only an opportunity for all of us to access the latest knowledge from leading experts, but also an opportunity for us, educators, to continue to impart and equip students with the necessary knowledge.
Because training a young generation to understand AI and master cybersecurity tools is the best way to protect the country’s digital future.”
Many Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) have been signed between organizations, businesses and educational institutions, specifically:
- Japan Association signs cooperation agreement with Network of Innovation and Cyber Security Experts (ViSecurity),
- Fore Japan Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement with CSC Cyber Security Joint Stock Company,
- Digital Hollywood University Japan and Duy Tan University signed a cooperation agreement in education and research…
Within the framework of the conference, the Hackathon CTF 2025 took place at Duy Tan University, attracting the participation of teams from many universities and academies across the country. The competition is not only a challenging academic playground for students majoring in information security and network security, but also an opportunity for contestants to exchange knowledge and skills, thereby discovering and nurturing young talents in this field.
